Jordi Bakker and Joost Schutte new members of the Supervisory Board
Terre des Hommes Netherlands proudly welcomes Jordi Bakker and Joost Schutte as new members of the Supervisory Board. As a partner at JAN© Accountants & Advisors, Jordi Bakker is an expert in the field of annual reporting. Joost Schutte works as a public prosecutor at the Netherlands Public Prosecution Service. He brings extensive legal knowledge and experience, particularly in the fields of corporate and criminal law.

As a passionate consultant and accountant, Jordi Bakker helps entrepreneurs bring supply and demand together. He also mentors children with an entrepreneurial spirit to get started at Jong Ondernemen, a platform that prepares children and young people for the labour market. He has been a member of the national Council for Annual Reporting for several years and is a specialist in annual reporting. In addition, he has been an advisor to the cultural institution “De Balie” for several years. Jordi is chairman of the audit committee of Terre des Hommes Netherlands.
"As adults, we have a duty to take care of our children. In some places in the world, children are not taken care of. Instead there is even exploitation. Terre des Hommes fights against this exploitation. However small, I am happy to be able to contribute to this fight."

With a sound legal background, Joost Schutte has been mainly advising both Dutch and foreign clients on financial transactions, providing legal assistance in IPO processes and advising on stock exchange rules. Since 2018 he has been working for the Netherlands Public Prosecution Service as a public prosecutor. His specialty is in the fields of corporate and criminal law. We are pleased to have a Supervisory Board member with legal expertise.

With the addition of Jordi Bakker and Joost Schutte, our Supervisory Board now consists of four members, including Marianne Verhaar-Strijbos (chairman) and Bas Verheijen. The members receive no remuneration for their work and have no business relationships with Terre des Hommes Netherlands.
