With the VOICE research we want to amplify children’s and caregivers’ views on how to build a safer internet for children across Europe and beyond. This publication reflects some preliminary insights from the research, including the parental survey and some initial trends observed in the conversations with children.
VOICE stands for “Values, Opinions and Insights from children (and caregivers) about e-safety”, an initiative led by ECPAT International, Eurochild and Terre des Hommes, with the support of the Down to Zero Alliance. The VOICE research consists of a series of qualitative consultations with children carried out in 10 EU Member States and 5 countries in Asia and Latin America. This data has been complemented with a parental survey across those 15 countries.
